In this project my goal would be to show the ins/outs of the daily life of a first time mother. My sister recently had a baby girl. We all like to think we know what we would do in every minute of being a parent but the truth is you learn as you go. I want to photograph my sister through out her early days of being a mother. Her emotions, the baby's emotions, and how it is seen from my perspective.
I would follow my sister around and capture moments of their lives throughout their daily routine. Early mornings, feedings, daily activities, stretches, naps, the house environment, the cleaning, etc.
In this project my goal would be to portray the daily routine of my life besides my work (its restricted, unable to take photos there.) Being a single household owner with pets, working night shift full-time, and going school during the day full-time can have its overwhelming moments. When I decided to buy my house I was very naive to all of the daily things that go into it.
I would take photos of everything through out my daily. My mornings, yard work, pet up-keeping (even the ugly stuff), laundry, cleaning, cooking, maintenance, etc.
